Lily allen is a great female artist. she was born on the 2nd of may 1985. Her real name is lily rose beatrice but is better known as lily allen. apart from being a english recording artist she is also an actress and a fashion designer. Lily left school early to concentrate on her performing and composing skills. she got a contract signed with the record label 'regal recordings'. In july 2006 her first mainstream single 'smile' reached the top position in the UK singles charts. she then began to host her own show called 'lily allen, and friends' on BBC 3. Her second major album release 'its not me, its you' made people see that she was trying a different genre from the first album smile, it had more of an electropop fell rather than a ska and reggae influence like smile.
During autumn 2010 lily opened a fashion rental shop called 'lucy in disguise' with her sister sarah.
